Join the community

Anyone can read the community without an account. To post, you need a free Finlay.works account: enter your email address and we send a short-lived sign-in code. No password, no card, no license required.

The name shown on your posts. Letters, numbers, dots, dashes, and underscores; 3 to 20 characters; no spaces. Keep it professional and do not impersonate Finlay.works, BareBones, or staff. Leave it blank and the community suggests one from your email address; you can change it during your first 30 days. A chosen handle is used only if you finish signing in from this browser; on another device, the community suggests one instead.

Already have a Finlay.works account from a Trial, Free Edition, Professional, or Lifetime key? Use the same email here or sign in; the account is the same.

What you get
  • Post and reply in Using BareBones, Product Feedback, and Releases and Advisories.
  • Your handle is public once you post; you can change it during your first 30 days.
  • Customers on an active Free Edition, Professional, or Lifetime license are marked Verified Customer on every post and get Customer Exchange, the customers-only room. The badge follows this same account when you take a license later.
  • Your discussions stay in the community and are not copied into your website account.
